Bowel Cancer Diagnosis.

Mr William Chambers offers a diagnosis service for possible bowel cancer. If you have symptoms suggestive of bowel cancer such as a change in bowel habit or rectal bleeding or have had a positive FIT test (Faecal Immunochemical Test) we can arrange further investigation with a colonoscopy or CT scan.

Hernias of all kinds: inguinal, femoral, umbilical, epigastric and incisional. He offers up to date laparoscopic, open and local anaesthetic approaches.

These include faecal incontinence, obstructed defaecation (difficulty in going to the loo), rectal prolapse and symptomatic rectoceles.

Haemorrhoids are a normal part of the anus. They are small sacs of blood vessels under the lining of the bowel.

A colonoscopy is a scope test to examine the lining of the colon. It is uses to investigated bleeding from the bowel and changes in the way it works.
